PUKKI IS SHOWING HIS WORTH:

At the start of the season, as like all in the past, sometimes that is the case, but there are always exceptions to the rule. Teemu Pukki could be the man to prove to be the exception this season. Goals on his Premier League debut against Liverpool and a hat-trick against a hapless Newcastle United, is helping to prove his doubters wrong. The Finnish international started the season at 6.5 and his price is steadily rising.

Other than West Ham in GW4, Norwich City play two of last season’s top six in Chelsea and Manchester City. It will be interesting to see if Teemu Pukki can continue his early season form or will playing in the Premier League start to catch up to him.

ARSENAL HAVE TURNED UP:

Arsenal have made a good start to the season and are looking like the Arsenal of old. They seem to be getting back to the Arsenal with the likes of Thierry Henry, Patrick Viera and Freddie Ljungberg in the side. That was shown, especially in the game against Burnley at the weekend. Dani Ceballos showed to be the main cog in the Arsenal wheel, passing and pinging the ball all over the park.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have both made a great start to the season. They are ticking things over nicely. It will be interesting to watch Arsenal this season and can they push the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United for a top four spot, or maybe more!

SHEFFIELD UNITED LOVE HOMEGROWN TALENT:

From both Britain and Ireland, Sheffield United showed in their game on Sunday. The likes of John Lundstrum, David McGoldrick and Callum Robinson certainly showed that players from England and Ireland can do it at the highest level. David McGoldrick may not have scored, but he did have chances. His Irish counterpart Callum Robinson kept on running all day and the Crystal Palace defence could simply not deal with him.

The name though who got the goal, the darling of the FPL Twitter Community was John Lundstrum. If the Sheffield United defender can keep this up, he could be brought into many more FPL sides in the coming weeks.

LIVERPOOL LOOK SHAKY:

Liverpool look shaky in the defence that is. With the advent of the Alisson injury in week one and Adrian coming in, the Liverpool defence is not as secure as it was in previous season’s. Don’t get me wrong, the Liverpool backline will still be great going forward, but the clean sheets are definitely under threat. Arsenal are on the horizon and like the paragraph on them above, are having a great start to the season.

To be honest, GW3 kicks off on a Friday night and for my GW3 captain, I am not too sure if I will be picking Mo Salah for my captain this weekend. To be honest, I am thinking about transferring out either Trent Alexander Arnold or Andy Robertson after GW2 heading into GW3.

CHELSEA ARE FOUND WANTING:

Chelsea are starting off the 2019/20, at not such a great pace under Frank Lampard. They have been found wanting at the back especially with Gary Cahill and David Luiz having now departed Stamford Bridge. Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen are definitely not good enough replacements. That was adamant on Sunday when they were hosting Leicester City.

It is the same at the top for Chelsea, Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham are not adequate attackers for Chelsea, which is especially apparent given the transfer of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid. I can see Chelsea struggling this season, the only thing keeping Lampard from the sack, is the fact that they are under a transfer ban.
