I have been tinkering with my squad recently and I believe I have come to the right squad to start the first weekend. Let’s start from the goalkeeper and defence and who I plan on going with in the backline. I believe that I am going to go for a 4-4-2 formation starting Game week 1.
Let’s begin with the goalkeeper, I believe I will go for Dean Henderson who is on-loan from Manchester United at Sheffield United in the starting keeper spot. Dean Henderson is 4.5 and hopefully will start Game week 1, seeing as he got on well with Sheffield in the Championship last season.
The backline will consist of four defenders in: Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool, Lewis Dunk of Brighton and Jan Bednarek of Southampton. I’m happy with that backline, Kelly will sit the bench until I can see Roy Hodgson using him in a good way at Crystal Palace.
Again, I am going for a four across the midfield with Ryan Fraser, Wilfried Zaha, Mohammad Salah and Kevin de Bruyne all starting with Leander Dendoncker sitting on the bench starting off. This is especially, since Wolves have a tough start to the season, both taking part in the Premier League and the Europa League.
In the forward line, we are going for two up top at the striker position. We are going for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Diego Jota.
At the minute, we have our captain armband on Mohammad Salah for his Friday Night fixture with Norwich City, but we could change it. We could change it to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his game with Newcastle United, who are one of the favourites to go down.
So, there you have it, our team is ready to go at the start of the season. Now, we want to say as well, that this team is subject to change. We will update you as we go along.
