Something I noticed is that some FPL managers tend to overlook the fact that the season is long in the quest to get as many points as possible every gameweek. I believe that it is virtually impossible to do well every single time, so I focus on having a team that is well prepared to do well every gameweek, even if that means I know I may never get the weekly prizes. What I mean is that it may be better to be consistently good than having some really good weeks and some really bad ones.
