Wolves’ season this term will kick off on July 25th against a fellow side trying to qualify for the Europa League, that has yet to be announced. From an FPL standpoint, we will be looking at how it affects Wolves’ early season form.

Wolves’ start to the season is fairly ok, barring home games against Manchester United and Chelsea. Other than those tough games – maybe not against Manchester United, they play against Leicester City, Burnley and Everton. At this stage, Wolves could be either firmly in or out of the Europa League at this stage, so let’s take a look at Wolves’ FPL prospects.

Wolves actually while having a look throughout their side and prospecting the prospects if you will, they actually provide good coverage prospects for a person’s FPL side.

Other than Doherty at 6.0 coming in at the heavy-hitter in defence, there is a great number of nicely priced defenders from Wolves. Willy Boly and Jonny come in at 5.5 and 5.0 apiece, throughout last season there were times that both Boly and Jonny offered great returns for us Fantasy managers so hopefully it will be the same this term.

Other than those players, perhaps players like Conor Coady, Romain Saiss and Ruben Vinagre will step up to the plate for Wolves, especially after the excursion into the Europa League at the start of the season.

It could be tough to pick from the Wolves midfield this season, unless they bring in one or two players, seeing as Helder Costa is about to move on loan to Leeds United for the season. Other than Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves who both come in at 5.5, Moutinho because of his position, offers little attacking returns for us Fantasy managers.

Players that I hope at least, can shine this season and allow us Fantasy managers to save some cash to upgrade elsewhere. Players who could step up to the mark this season and provide some Fantasy returns are: Ivan Cavaleiro, Leander Dendoncker and Morgan Gibbs-White.

Cavaleiro and Gibbs-White both come in at 5.0 and Dendoncker comes in at 4.5. It will be interesting to watch and see how they get on at the start of the season.

It will the interesting to see how Wolves start off the season and how these players get on from an FPL point of view at the season’s beginning. We just need to remember that, Wolves have many a name that could make the difference between a good / ok season and a great season.
