Norwich City:

We all expect the Norwich City players to come in at max £5.5 and under. What that means for us Fantasy managers, means that we can at points during the season, use them in our FPL sides to squeeze in bigger named, more established players.

Now, in terms of players for Norwich City who will stand out straightaway for us managers are Teemu Pukki, Max Aarons, Patrick Roberts (on loan from Manchester City) and Tim Krul, the big name players for the Canaries.

But, let’s look past these players that we either know, or have heard good things about. These players could be the make or break for Fantasy managers. These players could be the Wolves, Huddersfield, Leicester City players from last season and season’s past.

Five players who could make the difference for Fantasy managers in Norwich City next season could be, Josip Drmic who is a striker and was recently brought in from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach during the week. Not a prolific goalscorer by any means, but if Drmic takes to the Premier League like Sergio Aguero over Bebe then both Norwich City fans and Fantasy managers will have a reason to smile.

Two defenders who could make the difference for Norwich City this season, come from Switzerland and Germany respectively. Timm Klose and Philip Heise could be Norwich City’s answer to Aymeric Laporte and Virgil van Dijk.

Sheffield United:

At the minute, it looks as though there is not much to entice Fantasy managers when it comes to Sheffield United, at least from looking at Wikipedia. Nevertheless, we will do our best to pick out the players that will make the difference between them staying up and avoiding relegation.

Many of these players are more than likely be homegrown, British / Irish based players.

We will in this section of the article just pick out our 5 players who could make the difference in Sheffield United’s season in 2019/20. We start with three players who stand out come from the Island of Ireland. These three are Oliver Norwood, Enda Stevens and David McGoldrick.

Enda Stevens like many Ireland fans will testify, is a defender who can also play as a winger, much like fellow Irishman at Wolves Matt Doherty. We all know as Fantasy mangers defenders who can get forward are great when it comes to Fantasy points.

Oliver Norwood looks like he would be a nice cheap enabler for us Fantasy managers. Again, I expect Norwood to come in at 5.0 and under. It will mean that Norwood will allow us to upgrade elsewhere.

To round off our look at Sheffield United, we have David McGoldrick who we believe to be Billy Sharp’s understudy at Sheffield. David McGoldrick will more than likely be coming off of the bench for United. We will have to wait and see how Billy Sharp takes to the League. If Billy Sharp does not take to the League, then make sure you jump on McGoldrick fast.

Aston Villa:

Much like the preview on Norwich City, we will take a look at the five players that we will definitely be looking at for Aston Villa in the Premier League and the 2-3 players that could come in under the radar.

The players that jump straight off of the page for Aston Villa with Premier League pedigree that could take to the Premeir League are: Henri Lansbury, Jack Grealish, Ahmed Elmohamady and James Chester. Those players have what it takes to keep Aston Villa above the dreaded drop zone.

Some of the other names that could make the difference for Aston Villa in the 2019/20 season are as follows: Conor Hourihane, Jota, Jonathan Kodjia.

Jota is a weird one though, as we will have to see how he takes to the League after Aston Villa signed him over the Summer from their city rivals Birmingham City. He does know his way to goal though as he has got 60+ goals throughout his playing career so far.

Jota may be a cheap enabler for upgrading again elsewhere in your side, like David McGoldrick for Sheffield United.

I will put both Conor Hourihane and Jonathan Kodjia together, they were two of the bright lights in Aston Villa’s season in the Championship in the season just gone. I will be interested to see how both Hourihane and Kodjia take to the Premier League because none of the two have Premier League experience.
